About

I have over 10 years of experience in helping adolescents and adults to overcome barriers to reach their highest potential in life through therapy and coaching. Since receiving my M.A. of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy with a specialization in Child and Adolescent Therapy from Richmont Graduate University in Atlanta, GA, my work has been heavily influenced by placing emphasis on the value of living authentic, full lives. My theoretical orientation integrates humanistic principles combined with evidenced based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing and Solution-Focused coaching. Through using these modalities, I help individuals gain better control over their circumstances in life, more specifically in the areas of anger, concentration and focus issues, trauma/abuse, depression, anxiety, grief/loss, life transitions and occupational stress.

My personal motivation for this line of work is fueled by my innate compassion for corporate wellness by helping individuals to achieve greater focus, clarity, sense of purpose and above all, peace within themselves. When we take the time to care for ourselves, we can better take care of others around us and spread goodness throughout the world. Therefore, self-care is not an option, but it is a necessary component to help keep us moving forward in a positive direction, especially when life gets rough.

Therapy is one of the greatest investments that one can ever make when it comes to personal development and self-care. This is not an investment that I take lightly nor for granted; therefore, it is my personal mission to ensure that each client receives full value, appreciation and support to bring his or her personal goals to fruition.
