Therapy
What can I expect in therapy?
Who do you work with?
Many of the people who come to work with me are thoughtful, capable adults who have spent much of their lives being the responsible one or the person others depend on to manage, solve, and hold things together. While that strength may have helped you succeed, it can also create a quiet and constant pressure that is difficult to sustain.
My therapy services are designed to offer a space where you can slow down, reflect, and begin to understand the deeper patterns that have shaped how you relate to yourself, your work, and the people around you.
Together, we explore the survival roles and emotional burdens that developed earlier in life and how they continue to influence your present experiences. Through this process, many clients begin to release the pressure of constantly performing and reconnect with a deeper sense of authenticity and internal authority.
How often will we meet?
Most clients start with weekly or bi-weekly sessions to build momentum and trust. As you begin to meet your goals, we may shift to biweekly or monthly sessions depending on your needs.
Do you take insurance?
I only accept Aetna insurance through Alma. Outside of Aetna, I am an out-of-network provider, which means I do not bill insurance directly. However, I can submit a superbill (receipt) to your insurance company for possible reimbursement.
General Questions
How do I get started?
What if I’m not sure I’m ready?
That’s okay. Taking the first step toward support can feel vulnerable, but you don’t have to have it all figured out before reaching out. Our initial conversation is simply a space to connect and explore what you need.
