Therapy

What can I expect in therapy?

Therapy is a collaborative space where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and patterns without judgment. In our sessions, we’ll focus on helping you reconnect with yourself, set healthy boundaries, and find new ways of living that center rest, joy, and self-compassion.

Who do you work with?

I primarily support high-achievers, people-pleasers, and women, especially Black and Brown women, who have spent years being “the strong one.” If you’ve been carrying the weight of everyone else’s needs, this space is for you.

How often will we meet?

Most clients start with weekly or bi-weekly sessions to build momentum and trust. As you begin to meet your goals, we may shift to biweekly or monthly sessions depending on your needs.

Do you take insurance?

I only accept Aetna insurance through Alma. Outside of Aetna, I am an out-of-network provider, which means I do not bill insurance directly. However, I can submit a superbill (receipt) to your insurance company for possible reimbursement.

How do I know if therapy or coaching is right for me?

If you’re processing past experiences, emotional pain, or trauma that still impacts your present life, therapy may be the best fit. If you’re feeling stuck but ready to focus on specific goals and forward action, coaching might be the better option. We can discuss this in your consultation call to ensure you receive the right type of support.

Coaching

What’s the difference between therapy and coaching?

Therapy focuses on healing the past and understanding emotional patterns. Coaching focuses on the present and future—helping you set goals, create accountability, and build sustainable rhythms that align with your values.

Who can work with you for coaching?

Coaching is available to clients both inside and outside of Texas. It’s especially helpful for high-achieving professionals, entrepreneurs, and leaders who are ready to find balance without losing their drive.

How long is a coaching engagement?

Most coaching clients work with me for 3–6 months, meeting biweekly. However, I tailor the timeline based on your goals and the pace that feels most supportive for you. I also offer several small group coaching cohorts of 5-10 participants throughout the year.

What types of goals can we work on?

Coaching may focus on boundary-setting, confidence in saying “no,” redefining success, balancing ambition with rest, or creating routines that prioritize wellbeing. Together, we’ll design a plan that helps you move toward lasting change.

How do I get started?

Simply schedule a free consultation call to see if we’re a good fit. During this call, we’ll talk through your needs and determine whether therapy, coaching, or consulting best fits your goals.

What if I’m not sure I’m ready?

That’s okay. Taking the first step toward support can feel vulnerable, but you don’t have to have it all figured out before reaching out. Our initial conversation is simply a space to connect and explore what you need.
